Paul George hits desperation three with the foul to send game to overtime

Foul call or not, this is an absurd shot to make in crunch time.

It’s not often you expect a four-point deficit to be overcome or evened within the last 30 seconds of a basketball game. The chance is there, but mostly it’s a mix of execution and pure luck to combat such odds.

And the Pacers got both to fall in their favor tonight as they came close to falling short against the Sacramento Kings in regulation.

But Paul George played the part of the savior-of-the-night with a wicked fade-away three-pointer over Derrick Williams. Williams was called for the foul to tack on a free throw, which George also made.

Derrick Williams’ reaction says it all, really, whether you agree with the call or don’t.
