Steve Nash injury: Lakers guard tweaks back, misses targeted return to practice
Steve Nash tweaked his back on Monday morning, the day he was supposed to participate in practice. Ugh.

He’s been out of the lineup since Nov. 10, and has made only six appearances in the Lakers’ lineup on the season, dealing with the same back issues that plagued him last year. Nash has made multiple trips to Vancouver to work with his personal trainer, Rick Celebrini, and he has repeatedly told the media that he’s not going to be seen in a game until he knows he can consistently contribute.
According to the team, this tweak is minor and it is not related to Nash’s previous back injury, via ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne.
Fellow injured Lakers point guards Jordan Farmar (hamstring) and Steve Blake (elbow) ramped up their individual activities on Monday but have not been cleared to fully participate in practice, via the Lakers.
