Free agent center Andrew Bynum is still unsigned three weeks since clearing waivers. While there were reports when he was waived by the Chicago Bulls that he could have many suitors, no one has stepped up to the plate and taken the risk as of yet. That might be because Bynum's asking price -- more than the veteran's minimum, apparently -- is too high, according to a rumor reported by ESPN's Chris Broussard:

Here’s the holdup with the unsigned Andrew Bynum: He wants more than the veteran’s minimum, and teams have sincere questions about his desire to play basketball. One executive told me that Miami is still interested in him, but not for more than the vet’s minimum.
Bynum made $6 million this season for his 24 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs traded him to the Bulls in early January and Chicago immediately waived him so that the big man would not receive the other half of his $12 million salary that he would have been owed if he was on an NBA roster on Jan. 10.
In Cleveland, Bynum averaged 8.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 20 minutes per game.
