NBA trade rumors: Bucks intend to move Gary Neal before deadline, according to report

The guard is on the trading block after getting into a heated argument with Larry Sanders over the weekend.

The Milwaukee Bucks plan to do everything in their power to move guard Gary Neal before the February trade deadline, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

This report comes days after Neal got into an argument with Bucks big man Larry Sanders following a bad loss to the Phoenix Suns. The argument started when Sanders questioned Neal's attitude, and it escalated when Neal told Sanders he should try earning his money.

Sanders tried to downplay the incident when talking to reporters on Monday, while Neal declined comment. Bucks head coach Larry Drew attempted to quell the situation by meeting with his players individually, but that's not stopping the team from looking to move Neal.

Neal signed with the Bucks just this past offseason to a two-year, $6.5 million deal. The 29-year-old has been so-so this season, averaging 10.4 points while shooting 39.4 percent from the field and 41.9 percent from three. He has battled plantar fasciitis and also has been getting inconsistent minutes.

This entire year has been a disaster for the Bucks, who went into the season hoping to compete for a playoff spot. Instead, injuries have devastated the team and Milwaukee has just seven wins thus far.
