Carried by their role players, the Atlanta Hawks stunned the Indiana Pacers with a 97-87 victory on Wednesday night. Still recovering from the season-ending injury to All-Star big man Al Horford, the Hawks appear to be adjusting nicely to life without their star player.
Pacers vs. Hawks final score: Atlanta gets 97-87 upset win
The Horford-less Hawks got an impressive win on Wednesday.

Led by the efficient shooting of Kyle Korver, Pero Antic and DeMarre Carroll, the Hawks survived middling performances on Wednesday from Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague. It was all about ball movement and security in this one, as Atlanta's offense found some rhythm and didn't get disrupted by Indiana's aggressive defense.
The Hawks had just 10 turnovers in this one, most of them coming in the final minutes as the game’s intensity shot up. Meanwhile, the Pacers earned just nine free throw attempts, struggling to draw fouls near the basket.
Four different players scored 15-plus points for Atlanta -- Korver, Antic, Teague and Mike Scott, who put up 15 in 17 minutes. Paul George led the Pacers with 28 points and 12 rebounds, but no other player on the team scored more than Danny Granger's 14.
