LeBron James spent the summer away from basketball, but he was still plenty busy. The new member of the Cleveland Cavaliers announced Wednesday that two shows he helped to produce will debut this month, reports ESPN.
LeBron James helped produce 2 television shows set for debuts
LeBron James will debut a family show and a comedy show for two separate networks.

A family friendly show called “Becoming” will air Oct. 26 on Disney XD. It highlights stories about famous athletes before they became household names, and the show’s idea was inspired by James’ upbringing, which included his personal challenges and the inspirational athletes that helped him get past them.
The second show, a comedy that will debut Saturday on STARZ, is called “Survivor’s Remorse.” The adult-oriented show features a main character named Cam Calloway, a professional hoops player that must overcome the challenges of fame and fortune.
Both shows that James has helped produced are reflections of his own experiences.
James isn’t alone in his newest endeavors. Friend and business partner Maverick Carter is along for the ride. Additionally, ESPN Films is taking part in “Becoming,” while “Survivor’s Remorse” got contributions from Tom Werner, the former “Cosby Show” producer and Boston Red Sox chairman.
