Rajon Rondo did not play a single minute in the preseason as he recovers from a broken hand, but the Boston Celtics star just might be in the lineup on opening night. It all depends on how his nap goes.

Rondo told reporters he's a 'nap-time' decision for Wednesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. A day after saying there was a '79 percent' chance he would play in the opener, Rondo upgraded his status to '83 percent'.

“When I wake up from my nap, I’ll let [reporters] know. Around 4:30,” Rondo said. “If I sleep really, really well tonight, and [Wednesday] afternoon with my nap, I’ll let you know how I’m feeling.”

Rondo suffered a broken hand on Sept. 26 when he slipped and fell in the shower. He was originally given a time-frame of 6-8 weeks.

Rondo was limited to 68 games total the last two seasons as he recovered from a torn ACL. Last season, Rondo made his debut on Jan. 17 and averaged 11.8 points, 9.8 assists and 5.5 rebounds over the final 30 games of the campaign.

After Brooklyn, the Celtics will travel to Houston for a game on Saturday and then Dallas for a game on Monday,
