Russell Westbrook exited the Thunder’s game with the Los Angeles Clippers in the second quarter with a hand injury and did not return. After the game, coach Scott Brooks said Westbrook’s has a small fracture in his right hand.

— Kevin Arnovitz (@kevinarnovitz) October 31, 2014 Early indications are that he’ll miss 4-6 weeks, according to The Oklahoman. That means the Thunder, not an especially deep team as is, will play at least a month without Westbrook or Kevin Durant.
Westbrook appeared to injury his hand on a rebound and exited the game at the next dead ball. On his way out, he got into a verbal confrontation with a Clippers fan who apparently either yelled or threw something at him. Westbrook was visibly upset as he finally made his way into the tunnel.
Westbrook had two points and four assists in nine minutes when he came out of the game. Oklahoma City is already down six players to start the season, so losing Westbrook for any amount of time would be a terrible blow.
The Clippers out-scored the Thunder by 11 in the second quarter to take a 46-41 lead into the half.
