San Antonio Spurs forward Tim Duncan became the 19th player in NBA history to score 25,000 points in his career. He was eight points shy of the feat coming into the game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday and got it done near the end of the second quarter.
Tim Duncan joins 25,000-point club
Tim Duncan joined some exclusive company on Friday, scoring the 25,000th point of his career.

While a bank shot may have been the most fitting way for him to hit the mark, Duncan topped 25,000 points with a hook shot assisted by Tony Parker.
Although Duncan joined a list of some of the best scorers in NBA history, the milestone also allowed him to join an even more exclusive club. Duncan joined Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as only the second player in NBA history to score at least 25,000 points, pull down at least 14,000 rebounds and block at least 2,500 shots. Duncan topped the 14,000 rebound mark earlier this season.
Duncan is now one of five active players in the 25,000-point club, joining Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce.
