The Cleveland Cavaliers got off to a slow start on Friday against Boston and needed a huge fourth-quarter rally to knock off the Celtics. Whatever issues the Cavs had on Friday were no longer a problem on Saturday as the Cavs raced out to a 41-25 first-quarter lead thanks to a record-setting start from three-point range.

Cleveland made its first nine three-point attempts, an NBA record for the most threes in a quarter without a miss, according to Dave McMenamin. The Cavs eventually made their first 11 shots from beyond the arc before finally missing. The 13 made threes in the first half tied a franchise record.
While the Cavs were busy burning up the nets, the Atlanta Hawks were struggling to make anything from three-point range. Atlanta made just two of its first 16 attempts from three. It's no wonder the Cavs held a 101-69 advantage heading into the fourth quarter.
