The Cavs kept rolling with a blowout win of the Pacers to make it three in a row while the Wizards rebounded from a loss to Cleveland to knock off New Orleans 83-80.
The Hornets are in freefall

Sam Sharpe-USA TODAY SportsGive the Hawks credit -- they took full advantage of Charlotte’s aimless, disinterested brand of basketball. Atlanta made 10 of its first 11 three-pointers. The Hawks only turned the ball over three times in the first half as they wrecked the Hornets defense with their sharp shooting and sharp ball movement.
It’s hard to say what exactly can help Charlotte turn things around. The Hornets would need to go 37-27 from here on out just to finish .500, which may already be a goal too far out of sight. Stephenson and Walker are capable of being better, but if the Hornets have any plans on returning to the playoffs in a weak East, something has to change -- and fast.
