A 67-year-old woman who collapsed during the Portland Trail Blazers' game against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night died at Emanuel Hospital, the Multnomah Count Medical Examiner's Office confirmed to The Oregonian.

Witnesses told the newspaper that the woman’s body went “limp” and that EMTs arrived at the scene quickly. The Blazers’ game was delayed with eight minutes left in the fourth quarter as medical personnel performed CPR on the woman. She was taken out of the Moda Center in Portland as players looked on.

The name of the woman was not released as of Friday but the medical examiner was made aware of the death because it occurred less than 24 hours after the victim was admitted to the hospital, according to The Oregonian.

Blazers coach Terry Stotts acknowledged the incident after the game and offered his prayers to the fan, saying, "I don't know much of what went on, but certainly everybody in the locker room was very concerned. It's sad."
