The good news is that Rubio’s ankle isn’t broken, but he still could miss nearly two months, according to a report.

As he drove into the lane, it appeared Rubio planted his left foot on right on the toe of Willie Green, causing it to roll severely. Rubio immediately buckled and had to be helped off the court, but X-rays on the ankle showed that it wasn't broken, according to Timberwolves PR. Minnesota eventually lost the game in overtime.

It's likely that Zach LaVine, who saw eight minutes of action on Friday, will also spend some time at the position. He finished the game with four points and two assists in eight minutes of play.
