Monday night will be a slow one in the NBA. There are only four games on the schedule, and none of them stand out. Of course, that doesn’t mean that there won’t be anything worth watching.
NBA schedule: Wizards and Heat face off in Washington
A potential Eastern Conference playoff preview in DC, plus a look at the rest of Monday night’s NBA schedule.

We’ve got two good Eastern Conference teams facing off in Washington D.C. In Philadelphia, the hapless Sixers will try, and most likely fail, again, to win their first game of the season. They face the Spurs, which means we might see someone like Corey Joseph go for 30. Also, nights like this are when you get a chance to check out some players, and teams, that you might not otherwise get to see. Perhaps this is a good evening to devote some time to watching Andrew Wiggins and the kind-of-fun Minnesota Timberwovles, who take on the Clippers in Los Angeles.
So, where should your attention be directed on Monday night? We’ve got it all sorted out below.
The appetizer
It's not every night you get to watch two competent Eastern Conference teams face off. The Heat, however, are coming off a Sunday night win in New York, so who knows what the deal will be with Dwyane Wade, who just missed seven games with a hamstring injury. Still, this should be a good matchup between two veteran teams who could end up meeting each other in a seven game series in May.

The Main Course
Monday's main course is an undressed salad with no proteins, so go heavy on the appetizer. The Jazz have lost four in a row, which is not good. The Nuggets are a boring 8-8, though they have won seven of their last ten. Neither of these teams really matter, but Gordan Hayward is fun to watch, and Ty Lawson still might be one of the more underrated players in the league. Also, there's a chance that you get to see Quinn Snyder do something crazy, which is always worth tuning in for.

The dessert
Clippers vs. Timberwolves, 10:30 p.m. ET
While you were stuffing your face with Turkey, and then diving into Thanksgiving leftovers, the Clippers built up an impressive four-game winning streak. There's not much impressive about the Timberwolves, but take this night as opportunity to watch Andrew Wiggins do his thing.
