Threat of slightly open Kyle Korver three causes 76ers to surrender wide-open dunk

That’s how scary an open Kyle Korver can be.

The important thing about Kyle Korver shooting 55 percent from three-point range is that opponents defend him like he actually shoots 100 percent from three-point range. Witness not one, not two, but THREE Philadelphia 76ers defenders run after him because of the slight chance he pops open off a screen.

That allows Paul Millsap to get an uncontested dunk, because it’s tough to have three people chase a shooter and also guard the basket. And before you say “LOL Sixers,” know that they’re hardly the first team to do something like this when trying to stop the best three-point shooter in the game.
