Warriors win 12th straight game

Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY SportsGreen is making a case for Most Improved Player this season, doubling his scoring average to 12 points on 45 percent from the floor and 35 percent from behind the arc, all while grabbing nearly eight rebounds and dishing three assists a game. On Saturday, he was everywhere -- in addition to his scoring, Green had seven rebounds, three assists, four steals and three blocks with only a single turnover.
Last year, the Warriors’ defense was fantastic but their offense was only no. 12 in the NBA -- disappointing for a team captained by Steph Curry. Somehow, Golden State has improved in both areas; they’re up to no. 4 in offensive rating, per NBA.com’s stats, and upped their no. 3 defense of 2013-14 to best in the league this year.
