J.R. Smith runs away from Wes Matthews, for some reason
It’s often hard to tell when a player messes up a defensive rotation. It all happens so fast and who knows exactly what the player’s coach wants him to do anyway?
This is an exception. This is J.R. Smith weirdly drifting off the deadly Wes Matthews even though the New York Knicks have Steve Blake's drive easily contained. Mike Breen and Clyde Frazier were all over Smith for this error, as they should have been.
