NBA Rising Stars Challenge 2014: Rookie-Sophomore game time, TV schedule, radio and more
This year’s big Rookie-Sophomore competition features Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard and others.

There’s a good deal to be excited about this All-Star Weekend in New Orleans, but the action starts Friday night with the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge. Also commonly known as the Rookie-Sophomore Game, it pits the game’s best young players against each other for what’s typically a fast-paced, high-scoring affair.
Like with the Pro Bowl, the Rising Stars Challenge uses a quasi-fantasy draft to determine the two rosters for the games. Former NBA stars and current NBA TV analysts Chris Webber and Grant Hill selected the two teams during one of TNT's hoops broadcasts.
Team Hill stars Damian Lillard, Bradley Beal and Andre Drummond, with Harrison Barnes, Jonas Valanciunas, Terrence Jones, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Dion Waiters and Miles Plumlee filling out the roster. Plumlee replaces the injured Pero Antic.
Team Webber stars Anthony Davis, Michael-Carter Williams and Victor Oladipo, with Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway Jr., Jared Sullinger, Mason Plumlee, Steven Adams and Kelly Olynyk taking the remaining spots.
Game time: 9 p.m. ET
TV: TNT
Radio: ESPN Radio (NBA.com will also make audio available in different languages for non-English speakers)
