UPDATE: The East beat the West, 60-56, on the strength of Arne Duncan’s 20 points and 11 rebounds.
The NBA is officially into the All-Star break after TNT’s Thursday doubleheader, so let’s take a look at the events on the docket for Friday beginning with the Sprint NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, where two-time game MVP Kevin Hart will return to take a shot at a third.
ESPN will broadcast the event, beginning at 7 p.m. ET, which will feature a mix of celebrities, on-air personalities, a politician and both former and active professional athletes. Hart will try and defend his title against the likes of Erin Heatherton, Nick Cannon, Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg, Arne Duncan, Bruce Bowen and Skylar Diggins.
The teams will be coached by 'NBA Countdown' hosts Bill Simmons and Jalen Rose, and one lucky fan will have the opportunity to be part of the action through Sprint's Assistant Coach For A Day Sweepstakes. The winner will be flown to New Orleans for All-Star 2014 to serve as assistant coach for either the East or West.
