Andre Drummond scored 30 points, grabbed 25 rebounds and was selected the Rising Stars MVP as he led Team Hill over Team Webber, 142-136. The second-year big man got most of his work done early; he scored 17 points and collected 11 rebounds in the first half. Kevin Love recognized.

There were a lot of dunks and isolations and eventually Team Hill beat Team Webber in the Rising Stars Challenge.

Anthony Davis went to war in the first half, too. The Brow didn’t dominate the box score like Drummond, but he showed off the physical prowess that has wowed NBA observers for the last two years. He is not physically limited by that thing called gravity. And he does not believe that height and length deters coordination. He blocked this shot ...

Davis finished with 16 points, eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks.
The second half ran as a pretty bland piece of basketball. That is until Miles Plumlee decided to challenge The Brow at the rim.
Plumdog won that battle, somehow, saving himself from a whole lot of embarrassment and Internet shaming.
From there, a Dion Waiters-Tim Hardaway Jr. one-on-one battle ensued. Waiters scored 14 straight points for Team Hill and Hardaway Jr. replied with three ball after three ball. In all, Waiters scored 31 points and Hardaway Jr. led all scorers with 36 points total.
Team Hill shot 58 percent from the field and Team Webber shot 56 percent. There were 23 total three-pointers. There wasn’t much defense here. That’s not the point.
At the end of the game, the MVP trophy was dropped on the ground.
