NBA All-Star Saturday night 2014: John Wall steals the show

Shooting Stars Champions: Chris Bosh, Dominique Wilkins and Swin Cash
Team Bosh took home the Shooting Stars crown for the second straight season. In both rounds, Bosh drained the half court shot as if he was shooting a corner-three. He then celebrated like a Bosh.
Skills challenge champions: Damian Lillard and Trey Burke
That right there is Burke laying it in with a time of 45.2 seconds, edging out the rookie pairing of Victor Oladipo and Michael Carter-Williams by 0.1 seconds.
3-point champion: Marco Belinelli
Belinelli, who showed up to the competition looking lost and homeless, air-balled a couple of deep balls and still took home the crown. He was challenged, however, by a feisty Bradley Beal (and Nelly), who cleared his entire rack in the final round to force overtime.
The Spurs sharpshooter was deadly in the overtime round, though, netting a final score of 24.
Slam Dunk champion: The East and John Wall
So there are two winners here: the Eastern Conference team, comprised of Wall, Paul George and Terrence Ross, and Wall, who was voted in by fans as "Dunker of the Night."
The East team won this weird freestyle round which gave them the choice of who had to dunk first in the battle round. They selected the West to go first. All three Eastern Conference dunkers beat their Western foes in the first round and the dunk contest was over. It was weird and short and it was complained about a bunch on Twitter.
The odd part is that the dunks were actually pretty cool. There just wasn’t enough of them to make it feel like you didn’t waste your time. The NBA didn’t really seem prepared for every Eastern Conference guy to knock off every Western Conference guy in the first round. It ended. John Wall’s dunk was crazy and the new format will fly out the window and be forgotten in time.
