The Bobcats are looking to make a move to upgrade their roster for a playoff push. Charlotte currently holds the eighth and final spot in the Eastern Conference, and they could use some more scoring punch. The Bobcats are 25th in the NBA in offensive rating and second-worst in three-pointers made per game at just 5.8 per contest.
The Bucks have been looking to move Neal since January, despite signing him to a two-year, $6.5 million contract this past offseason. Neal has struggled a bit with his shooting for the league-worst Bucks, and there was also an incident with Larry Sanders earlier in the year.
For the season, Neal is averaging 10.2 points while shooting 38.9 percent overall and 36.4 percent from three in 20.2 minutes per game. The 29-year-old is a 39.3 percent three-point shooter for his career.
