After a long month and a half away from basketball, point guard Andre Miller finally has his fresh start. The Denver Nuggets traded the veteran point guard to the Wizards on Thursday in a three-team deal that also included Washington shipping Eric Maynor and a second-round pick to the Philadelphia 76ers, reports Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.

Additionally, the Nuggets will receive big man Jan Vesely, according to the Washington Post's Michael Lee. Denver also will owe Philadelphia a second-round pick in 2016, according to David Aldridge.
Since the new year, Miller has been away from the Nuggets after clashing with coach Brian Shaw over his minutes. It didn't take long for Denver to put him on the trading block, but while there were many suitors, the Nuggets didn't pull the trigger.
The Timberwolves and Kings were two other interested parties. Minnesota needed guard help despite having depth with Ricky Rubio, J.J. Barea and Alexey Shved, and the T-Wolves wanted Denver to take back Barea contract that pays him $4.5 million through next season. The Kings reportedly offered one of Jimmer Fredette or shooting guard Marcus Thornton, but that seemingly didn't interest the Nuggets all too much.
With Washington, Miller fills in the absent backup point guard spot that was to be manned by the disappointing Maynor, who this summer signed a $4 million deal for two years.
