Orlando Magic shooting guard Arron Afflalo tweaked his ankle in the double-overtime period against the New York Knicks and limped off the court. There is no word yet on the extent of the injury, but he did not return to the game after he went to the locker room for further evaluation.

Afflalo registered 32 points, three assists and three rebounds on 11-of-18 shooting before getting injured. He just missed out on this year’s All-Star game and was having a career season, averaging 19.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists in his second season with the Magic.

The veteran wing man has provided Orlando major minutes this season and was a frequent name hovering around the recently-passed trade deadline.

Orlando went on to beat the Knicks in double-overtime, 129-121. Magic rookie guard Victor Oladipo finished with 30 points, 14 assists and nine rebounds.

Carmelo Anthony led the way for New York with 44 points on 16-of-28 shooting. The star forward also provided 11 rebounds in the loss.
