There are no inspiring games on the NBA slate for Saturday. Not one contest features two teams that are both over .500. We’re switching up our normal “Main course, appetizer, dessert” format. This is a night full of junk food through and through.
NBA schedule 2014: Knicks-Hawks highlight an uninspiring slate of NBA games
There are eight NBA games scheduled for Saturday and we’re here to tell you what to watch for.

Hot Pockets
League Pass; 7:30 p.m. ET
The Hawks have lost eight of their last 10 and the Knicks are coming off a loss to the Magic in which they shot themselves in the foot time after time in the waning moments. Neither team is in a very good position now or moving forward.
But Carmelo Anthony is also coming off a 44-point game in which he looked nearly unstoppable for long stretches. There's always a chance that he goes for 50 just because his teammates aren't very good and that would pretty fun to watch. Atlanta has been a tire fire as of late, but there are still Kyle Korver three-pointers to watch!
Pop-Tarts
NBA TV; 7 p.m.
Anthony Davis, John Wall and Bradley Beal are enough to cue this game up. Davis is a superstar in the cocoon and Wall is a high-flying, air terror with the ability to jump over you, dunk on your face and dance on your burning corpse. Beal nearly won the three-point competition and is an overall jewel on the offensive end. His partnership with Wall in Washington's back court is one of the fun dynamics to keep an eye on over the next few years.
Fruit roll ups
League Pass; 10:30 p.m.
The Warriors could stand to gain some offensive creativity, but the sheer talent in their front six players is enough to keep them a League Pass darling. Stephen Curry is a fire-breathing dragon and his back court compadre, Klay Thompson, is a silky shooter without a short term memory. Plus, this is game No. 2 in Steve Blake's Warriors campaign, which is pretty fun. Marcus Thornton will trot out for the Nets, so that's something to watch, too.
Grease and fat
Memphis Grizzlies vs. Charlotte Bobcats -- League Pass; 7 p.m.
Dallas Mavericks vs. Detroit Pistons -- League Pass; 7:30 p.m.
Indiana Pacers vs. Milwaukee Bucks -- League Pass; 8:30 p.m.
Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Utah Jazz -- League Pass; 9 p.m.
Boston Celtics vs. Sacramento Kings -- NBA TV; 10 p.m.
