Former Milwaukee Bucks swingman Junior Bridgeman, now an uber-wealthy fast-food business owner, is reportedly interested in investing in the team, according to Don Walker of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Bucks owner Herb Kohl wants to keep the team in Milwaukee, so Bridgeman was approached about being part of the ownership group. He owns more than 160 Wendy’s restaurants and about 100 Chili’s restaurants, plus several dozen Fazoli’s restaurants. Two years ago, Forbes estimated his net worth at over $200 million.

Bridgeman played 10 of his 12 seasons in the NBA with the Bucks. He averaged 13.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists in his career, and is Milwaukee’s all-time leader in games played.

If he does become an investor, he would have to sell his minority stake in the Sacramento Kings. NBA rules disallow investing in more than one franchise.
