Golden State Warriors center Jermaine O'Neal will play on Tuesday against the Charlotte Bobcats just eight weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a torn tendon in his right wrist, something that seemed like an impossibility when the injury was announced in early December.

The 35-year-old is officially listed as questionable against the Bobcats, but the fact it's even a 50-50 chance he'll give it a go — and if you believe O'Neal, he's playing — is pretty amazing considering the prognosis that was given back on Dec. 12.
Golden State signed the big man over the offseason to help shore up the Warriors' depth in the frontcourt after the departure of Carl Landry. O'Neal appeared in 17 games prior to the injury, putting up 6.2 points and 4.5 rebounds in 18.6 minutes per contest. His return will be a boost for a team that's come to rely heavily on its Andrew Bogut, David Lee, Marreese Speights rotation, especially with Lee also a question mark for Tuesday.
