Blake Griffin, Clippers going ham on 76ers in Chris Paul’s return

The Clippers are up 39 points at halftime, and Griffin is dunking all over the hapless Sixers.

The Los Angeles Clippers got Chris Paul back in their lineup against the Philadelphia 76ers after an 18-game absence, and the Clippers promptly went on to annihilate the hapless Sixers in a first half that ended with a ridiculous score of 69-30. The 39-point lead is the largest lead at halftime in franchise history.

The Clippers scored the first 13 points of the game and the rout was on, with the lead growing to 31 after the first quarter. This was the score JUST A MINUTE into the second quarter:

Blake Griffin has 17 points, nine rebounds and six assists in just 16 minutes, and he missed some time with a shin contusion. I think that shin is doing fine, though:
