Kyle Lowry kneed in the head, suffered from headache after Raptors-Suns game

The Raptors’ stud point guard was experiencing light sensitivity after the blow to the head. Not good.

Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry took a knee to the head from Phoenix Suns forward P.J. Tucker in the middle of the Raps' 121-113 loss to the Suns Sunday afternoon. It looked like it hurt a fair amount.

Lowry stayed in the game and finished with 28 points, 13 assists, five rebounds and two steals. Afterwards, however, he told reporters he was suffering from a headache and said a light in the locker room -- presumably from a TV camera -- was causing him some distress.

So the player says he has no concussion, but he took a blow to the head and has light sensitivity. Maybe it’s not a concussion, but either way, Lowry and the team should be careful and make sure he’s 100 percent before throwing him back out in a game.
