Kyrie Irving may be done for season with biceps injury, per report
The Cavaliers’ star point guard is getting an MRI on Monday, but speculation is that he could be done for the season.

Kyrie Irving may be out for the rest of the season with a left biceps injury, according to Mary Schmitt Boyer of The Plain Dealer.
Irving suffered the injury in the first quarter of the Cavs' 102-80 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday. Irving didn't return to the game and left the Staples Center with his left arm in a sling. An MRI is scheduled for Monday, and speculation is the star point guard will be done for the year.
If Irving’s season is finished, Cleveland’s playoff hopes likely are as well. The Cavs’ chances at the postseason were low even with Irving in the lineup, as they’re 4½ games out of the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. But without Irving, the odds are even lower.

This injury is just another one in a long line of them for Irving. The 21-year-old missed a significant amount of time in his one season at Duke and missed a combined 38 games in his first two NBA seasons.
This year has been a rough ride for Irving and the Cavs, who had playoff expectations heading into the season. Not only has Irving’s play regressed, but general manager Chris Grant was fired and there were reports of a tumultuous locker room.
Irving is averaging 21.2 points and 6.2 assists on the year, but he’s shooting just 42.8 percent overall and 36.7 percent from three, percentages much lower than last season.
