Pacers vs. Bulls final score: Chicago suffocates stagnant Pacers

When you're struggling to score, the Bulls aren't the best medicine. Chicago defeated the offensively stagnant Pacers, 89-77, on Monday, making it two straight games in which Indiana failed to top at least 77 points, and four consecutive scoring 92 or fewer.

Taj Gibson led the way with 23 points off the bench for the Bulls, who managed to keep pace as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. Chicago kept Indiana under 40 percent shooting and managed to win the rebound battle, 46-42, in the type of low-scoring affair you'd expect between these two teams. Gibson also did this:

And Indiana continues to battle with its offense. The Pacers have the fifth-worst offense in the league since the change in the calendar year, per NBA.com's offensive-efficiency numbers, and now they've dropped to just one game ahead of the Heat — who beat the Trail Blazers by two points on Monday — in the loss column for first seed in the East.

The Bulls got 18 points from Kirk Hinrich, while the Pacers got 21 from Paul George, although it took him 22 shots to get there.
