NBA GMs worried Jabari Parker will return to Duke, according to report
The Duke product is one of the top NBA prospects, but some GMs are worried that he’ll return to Durham.

Duke freshman forward Jabari Parker is expected to be a top pick in the 2014 NBA draft. But he might stick around for his sophomore season, according to Mitch Lawrence of the NY Daily News.
”That’s what’s in the air right now, Parker staying, but we haven’t heard anything official,’’ one Eastern Conference GM with an interest in Parker’s plans said on Friday.
The Hook
This is typically the time of year when GMs and NBA fans begin to worry whether a prospect will leave for the draft or stick around for another year at college. Parker (No. 3 overall in Draft Express' top 100) has long talked about the possibility of returning to school and he hasn't declared for the draft yet, so naturally GMs at the top of the draft are panicking.
The freshman forward averaged 19.1 points and 8.7 rebounds on 47.3 percent shooting this season at Duke, but his Blue Devils were eliminated by Mercer in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Despite his poor performance in that game, he’s still considered one of the very best prospects in a very good draft. If he chose to return the Duke, the top of the draft will be noticeably weaker.
