Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin is being listed as day-to-day with back spasms, Clippers head coach Doc Rivers told reporters after their game against the Rockets on Saturday (via Dan Woike of the OC Register).

Griffin left midway through the first quarter against the Rockets and did not return. His injury appears not to be serious, but Rivers will use full caution with his star big man.

Griffin has started all 74 games for Los Angeles this season and is having the best year of his career, putting up 24.3 points, 9.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.

The Clippers (52-22) are third in the Western Conference and own the league’s fourth best overall record. They went on to beat the Rockets 118-107 without Griffin and currently hold a two-game advantage over Houston in the West.
