Clarkson spent one season under Frank Haith at Missouri after transferring from Tulsa. The junior averaged 17.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists as the Tigers went 23-12 and lost in the second round of the NIT.

Standing at 6’4”, Clarkson is an athletic guard who could play both backcourt positions at the next level. DraftExpress currently projects Clarkson as a second-round pick, but Goodman reports the junior is considered a late first-rounder by most NBA executives. There are some questions about Clarkson’s outside shooting, as he shot just 28.1 percent from three on 3.3 attempts per game this season.
In addition to Clarkson, Missouri may also lose fellow junior guard Jabari Brown to the NBA. Brown, the Tigers' leading scorer at 19.9 points per game, will likely decide this week whether or not he will return to school.
