2014 NBA schedule: Spurs roll Pacers in Indiana

Rajon Rondo, resting his knee on the second night of a back-to-back, was not content to just sit on the bench. He opted to join the Celtics broadcast team as a guest color announcer for a half. In doing so, he placed himself within the territory of one Benny the Bull:

You know, maybe this was totally innocent. Benny was just trying to eat some popcorn, but he doesn’t have an actual tongue or mouth or esophagus or any digestive system at all, so he made a huge mess. It’s actually really embarrassing for him.

We would ask how this type of thing is possible over three defenders, but we know better with LeBron. This type of thing is nothing out of the ordinary for the reigning MVP.

The 76ers were this close to following a 26-game losing streak with back to back wins, but sometimes reality gets in the way. Hawks 103, Sixers 95. Maybe next year, Philadelphia.

LeBron has 21 points at halftime against Toronto. He’s 7-for-9 from the field, and one of those shots was a heave at the end of the first quarter.

The 10-game NBA schedule on Monday includes a battle of conference leaders, another between two squads that should be new to the playoff grind, and finally, a game between two of the East’s best three teams.
