Grizzlies best Bulls, Rockets blow out Pacers in Friday’s NBA action

Houston’s domination began in the first quarter as the team took a 16-point lead. The Pacers struggled to find points in the half court and the Rockets flew out in transition on the other end. The Rockets led by 15 with 2:26 to play in the first half, but Indiana sprouted and cut that lead to seven, 50-43, before halftime.

Eventually, the Pacers cut that lead to three points, but Houston exploded and increased its lead to 23 points in the third quarter after these two baskets from Harden:

Stiemsma set an off-ball screen on Mayo and appeared to have slightly caught Mayo in the head. Mayo reacted immediately, throwing what looked like a forearm punch right at Stiemsma’s noggin.

According to reports, Joakim Noah did a little Chicago recruiting when he had Carmelo Anthony’s ear during the All-Star break, and now the rumors be swirlin’. Noah has mostly been dismissive when asked about the recruiting, but when ESPN brought it up during a sit-down interview, Noah noted the similarity between NBA rumors and high school gossip and gave the world this impression:
