Arizona Wildcats freshman forward Aaron Gordon will announce this week that he's entering the 2014 NBA Draft, according to Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports.
Arizona’s Aaron Gordon to declare for 2014 NBA Draft this week, according to report
The freshman big man is expected to be a top-10 pick.

Spears first reported Gordon's likely intentions after Arizona lost to the Wisconsin Badgers in a thrilling overtime affair in the Elite Eight. Gordon struggled offensively in the game, going just 3-of-11 overall and 2-of-9 in the paint. However, the 6'9 forward did have 18 rebounds, and he was superb in the Wildcats' first three games of the tournament.
Gordon’s numbers on the season weren’t all that eye-popping, as he posted averages of 12.4 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 49.5 percent from the field. The freshman shot a respectable 35.6 percent from three on a limited number of attempts, but he only managed to make 42.2 percent of his free throws.
Still, Gordon is currently projected to be a top-10 pick in the draft. The big man is currently at No. 8 in the latest DrafExpress mock draft and is No. 6 in ESPN’s Chad Ford’s latest Big Board. While still a bit raw on the offensive end, scouts love his athleticism and defensive ability.
