Wizards vs. Bulls Game 2, NBA playoffs 2014: Game time, TV schedule and more

The Bulls will try to even up the series after a disastrous fourth-quarter performance in Game 1 led to a loss at home.

The Chicago Bulls appeared well on their way to winning Game 1 of their first-round series against the Washington Wizards, up 13 points in the third quarter. But the Wizards chipped away at the deficit and outscored the Bulls 30-18 in the fourth quarter to steal a win on the road.

Nene led the way for Washington, scoring 24 points and grabbing eight rebounds in his first start since late February. Nene had his way with Defensive Player of the Year Joakim Noah for much of the night, making 11-of-17 shots. The Wizards shot 48.6 percent from the field against the typically stingy Bulls defense.

Chicago had seven players score in double figures, led by 16 apiece from Kirk Hinrich and D.J. Augustin. However, the point guard duo combined to shoot just 10-of-31 from the field as the Bulls shot 42.0 percent overall and 5-of-20 from long range.

Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau is sure to make some adjustments for Game 2, and it may prove difficult for the Wizards to have a repeat offensive performance on the road. But Chicago will need to put forth a better offensive effort of its own if the team wants to head to Washington with the series tied.
