Alonzo Mourning and Mitch Richmond will be Hall of Famers, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced on Monday. Ten finalists were announced back in February, along with a group of five direct-elect members that included David Stern and Sarunas Marciulionis.

Joining former All-Star and All-NBA players Mourning and Richmond will be Nolan Richardson, who won the NCAA championship, NIT championship and NJCCA championship as a head coach; Gary Williams, who coached the University of Maryland to 11 straight NCAA appearances and a national title in 2002; and Immaculata University's early 1970s women's team, which won three consecutive AIAW championships.
Mourning averaged 17.1 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in 15 seasons in the NBA, making the All-Star Game seven times and winning Defensive Player of the Year twice. Richmond averaged 21 points per game in 14 seasons, and is a six-time All-Star.
The class will be officially inducted into the Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass. on Aug. 8.
