Golden State Warriors big man Jermaine O’Neal left Game 6 against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night after colliding with Glen Davis. It appears the 35-year-old hyper-extended his knee on the play.

Golden State’s savvy veteran center had to leave the game against the Clippers on Thursday night.
With 9:38 to go in the half, O'Neal went up for a loose ball after Marreese Speights blocked a Darren Collison three-pointer. O'Neal grabbed the ball, but Davis was unable to control his own momentum and crashed into the veteran's knee.
O’Neal was down on the ground for several seconds, and had to be helped off the court. The Warriors big man tried to put weight on it, but had to be escorted back to the locker room.
Golden State has relied heavily on O'Neal in the first round, especially as Andrew Bogut has been sidelined with a rib injury. The 17-year veteran has regular season averages of 7.9 points on 50 percent shooting. In the series against the Clippers, O'Neal has posted eight points per game on 56.7 percent shooting.
Los Angeles leads the series, 3-2.
