Serge Ibaka injury: Thunder forward leaves playoff game against Clippers with hurt calf

Oklahoma City lost their top big man as they fought against Los Angeles in Game 6 on Thursday night.

SB Nation 2014 NBA Playoff Bracket

Oklahoma City forward Serge Ibaka had to leave his team's game against the Clippers with 7:24 remaining in the third quarter on Thursday night with an apparent left calf injury. His return is doubtful.

Ibaka was injured when Chris Paul drove down the lane and put up a floater. The Thunder big man came across the lane to block the shot, but tangled legs with Paul as both came to the ground. Ibaka had to be subbed out, and immediately left for the locker room.

When Ibaka left the game, the Thunder were down, 57-51. Ibaka had six points on 3-of-5 shooting, with two rebounds and one block in 26 minutes of play. Ibaka was replaced by backup Nick Collison.

Oklahoma City has needed Ibaka in this series, where he has shot no worse than 40 percent from the field in any game. He is also averaging 6.2 rebounds per-game in the series with Los Angeles.
