Pacers vs. Heat, NBA playoffs 2014: Game time, TV schedule, radio and more

The series is tied following two games in Indiana and now shifts to South Beach on Saturday.

Indiana did all it could in the fourth quarter of Game 2, but LeBron James was just too much down the stretch. Save for Lance Stephenson, no one on the Pacers roster had a glimmer of the killer instinct in their eye, and with Dwyane Wade at his side, James and the Heat were able to beat Indiana on their home floor, 87-83, to tie the series.

James was magnificent, doing all that we’ve come to expect from him in crunch time. He dominated at the rim, and when Indiana’s staunch defense collapsed on him, he dished to cutting teammates for easy buckets. Despite the late-game heroics, neither team played particularly well offensively, and Stephenson was the only Pacer who clicked.

Miami didn't have an answer for the fourth-year guard, who logged 25 points on 10-of-17 shooting, dished out seven assists and grabbed six rebounds. As Game 3 turns to Miami's home floor, Paul George and David West will have to step up as the Heat plan for Stephenson defensively.

Indiana’s two best players combined to shoot just 9-of-32 from the field in Tuesday’s loss, which won’t suffice as the Heat are sure to come prepared for their first Eastern Conference Finals home game this year. For Miami, Game 2 was about fixing their pick-and-roll defense. They need to continue that effort to put the Pacers in a tough spot offensively.
