The Miami Heat have taken a 2-1 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals after dominating the Indiana Pacers in a 99-87 victory. Miami outscored Indiana 61-45 in the second half. Dwyane Wade scored 23 points while LeBron James added a game-high 26 along with seven assists.

Ray Allen unleashed a flurry of three-point shooting in the fourth quarter. He made all four of his attempts from beyond the arc in the final frame, pushing Miami's offense to victory while Indiana attempted to rally back.

Indiana led by as many as 15 points in the first half. Miami struggled early, scoring just 14 points in the first quarter, and the Heat were affected by big man Roy Hibbert’s presence in the paint. Miami made a run late in the second quarter to shrink the margin to four points.

Miami's transition offense finally started producing in the third as the team converted nine fast break points. Wade and LeBron combined for 22 in the third quarter, taking over the game while Indiana's leading star went silent. Paul George was 0-for-1 in the third, disappearing from the contest. He finished the game with 17 points on 5-of-13 shooting.

Game 4 is Monday in Miami.
