Spurs vs. Thunder final score, NBA playoffs 2014: Oklahoma City dominates San Antonio, 105-92
Russell Westbrook took over as the Thunder leveled the series, 2-2.
Don't count Oklahoma City out yet. The Thunder took home a dominating win over the Spurs Tuesday night, 105-92, as the series heads back to Texas for Game 5 all tied up.
San Antonio jumped out of the gate hot, with Kawhi Leonard shooting the ball well as Tony Parker dished out assists. But the Thunder began to rebound, and by the second quarter, Oklahoma City pulled out a lead behind the strong play of Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant.
Westbrook was particularly impressive, going off in the third quarter as he hit three-pointers, dunked and made his way to the free throw line. Durant was efficient with his shot, and the Thunder received noticeable output from bench players Jeremy Lamb and Steven Adams.
San Antonio's bench -- including Matt Bonner, Jeff Ayres and Marco Belinelli -- did go on a run in the fourth quarter, giving the Thunder some pause. But Westbrook proved too much as the Oklahoma City rim protection foiled the Spurs' plans to score in the paint.
Westbrook was the shining star for Oklahoma City, scoring 40 points on 12-of-24 shooting, adding 10 assists, five steals, five rebounds and one block with just three turnovers. Durant dropped 31 points on 11-of-22 shooting, with five rebounds, three steals and a block. No other Thunder player scored in double digits.
For San Antonio, Tony Parker scored 14 points on 7-of-12 shooting, adding four assists and one rebound. Boris Diaw put in 14 points to go along with 10 rebounds and three assists off the bench. Cory Joseph scored 11 points and Kawhi Leonard added 10.
Game 5 is in San Antonio on Thursday at 9 p.m. ET and will air on TNT.
