Nets vs. Heat final score, NBA playoffs 2014: Miami takes series lead over Brooklyn, 2-0

The Heat took control in the second half on Thursday night, clamping down on the defensive end to win Game 2, 94-82, to take a 2-0 series lead heading back to New York.
Miami came out flat to start the game, scoring just 15 points in the first quarter. But things came alive for the Heat to close the half, scoring 30 points in the second quarter alone as the teams played a fairly level first half and Brooklyn leading, 46-45.
The Heat turned on the jets late, with Ray Allen coming alive in the second half, scoring 13 points while grabbing eight rebounds. Deron Williams had a terrible game, shooting 0-of-9 while failing to score a single point. Miami's defense prevailed in the fourth quarter, fending off Brooklyn as they allowed just 15 points.
For Brooklyn, Mirza Teletovic led the way with 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting with two rebounds off the bench. Shaun Livingston had 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting, adding five rebounds, three assists and a block. Joe Johnson scored 13, and Kevin Garnett registered just four points.
LeBron James was the top scorer for Miami, dropping 22 points on 9-of-18 shooting, with four rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block. Chris Bosh scored 18 points, grabbing six rebounds with three blocked shots. Dwyane Wade scored 14 points and had a team-high seven rebounds and seven assists to go with two steals and a block.
Game 3 is at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday in Brooklyn.
