Good morning, Carmelo Anthony to Miami is a thing
Plus Finals links and much more.

Good morning. Let’s basketball.
MIDDLE AMERICA WILL LOVE THIS! The Heat are targeting Carmelo Anthony in free agency, report Marc Stein and Brian Windhorst. Under the Heat’s diabolical plan, all four stars -- LeBron, Wade, Bosh and Melo -- would opt out of their contracts and sign for discount prices in Miami. Sam Amick has also recently broached the idea. Conrad Kaczmarek considers the possibilities.
YOU CAN TELL EVERYBODY: Something that might help justify LeBron giving up salary is that he just made $30 million in cash and stock from the Beats by Dre sale to Apple. Remember that LeBron was an early ambassador for the brand, back around the time of the 2008 Olympics.
SOCRATIC: Paul Flannery on the Finals, where we know nothing. Also, I wrote about who gets credit for Kawhi’s success.
TONIGHT: Game 4. 9 p.m. ET. ABC. Obviously a crucial game for Miami.
OH COOL: A Shelly vs. Donald Sterling trial in July! [makes vacation plans]
HMM: Someone is trying to humanize Michael Jordan by planting him at a kindergarten class. This will not stand. Also, MJ on Kimmel.
THE DURHAM BULL: Joe Simmons remembers the impact of Rodney Rogers.
#BALTCHE IN MANILA: On the Philippines’ push to naturalize Andray Blatche and others for international basketball gain.
HAPPY WORLD CUP. Here’s the big SB Nation preview. U-S-A! U-S-A! Our siblings at Vox.com also have a guide to the World Cup for non-soccer fans.
Happy Thursday. See you next time.
