Owner indicates Bucks will not draft Joel Embiid
If the Cavaliers don’t take Joel Embiid, it appears that the big man will fall to at least No. 3.

Lasry is ruling out Bucks taking Embiid. "Our decision got a lot easier, mainly because Embiid got hurt."

Embiid could still potentially go No. 1 to the Cavaliers. If he doesn't, Jabari Parker and Andrew Wiggins could end up off the board by the time the Sixers pick at No. 3.
Embiid injured
The Bucks were the worst team in the NBA last season at 15-67. Last week, the Cavs' medical staff discovered a stress fracture in Embiid's foot. He had surgery on Friday and is expected to miss 4-6 months of action. Based on previous situations with injured incoming rookies (including 2013 No. 6 pick Nerlens Noel), it would not be a surprise to see Embiid sit out the entire 2014-15 season.
The Bucks are currently seeking to build a new arena in Milwaukee.
