Duke forward Jabari Parker could go first overall to the Cleveland Cavaliers and would be fine with it, but also said he expects to go no lower than second to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Jabari Parker said he's not against being drafted first by the Cleveland Cavaliers, but expects he'll be the second overall pick and land with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to Yahoo! Sports' Marc J. Spears. While meeting with the media in preparation for the NBA Draft, Parker said the Bucks have promised they will select him if he's still on the board.

Ever since the the Cavaliers discovered a stress fracture to center Joel Embiid's navicular bone in his foot, they have reportedly been discussing whether they should use their first pick to select Parker or Kansas swingman Andrew Wiggins. They could also trade the first overall pick and are reportedly at least a tad bit interested in a trade with the Orlando Magic.

Parker’s chances of becoming the first pick slipped when he went through a disappointing workout with the Cavs. He said on Wednesday that he hasn’t gotten the same “vibe” from Cleveland as he has from Milwaukee, according to Spears. And there is mutual interest between the Bucks and Parker, who grew up in Chicago. Parker’s father, Sonny Parker, told the Racine Journal Times’ Gery Woelfel he would be happy if Milwaukee drafted his son.
