The Philadelphia 76ers have selected KJ McDaniels from the University of Clemson with the No. 32 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. The defensive standout averaged 2.8 blocks as a member of the Tigers' backcourt in the 2013-14 NCAA season.

McDaniels wasn’t a scoring threat his final season at Clemson, pouring in 17.1 points per-game on 45.9 percent shooting. He made a significant jump in all three seasons he played in the state of South Carolina, and helped led Clemson to a 20-12 season last year.
For the Sixers, getting a defensive specialist at the wing spot was a big priority, especially after missing out on Andrew Wiggins at No. 1. Philadelphia was one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA last year, and getting
