2014 NBA Draft Results: San Antonio Spurs select Cory Jefferson with final pick

Cory Jefferson was the final pick in the 2014 NBA Draft and he will head to the reigning champions.

Robert Hanashiro-USA TODAY Sport

With the 60th and final pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, the NBA champion San Antonio Spurs selected Cory Jefferson, a forward from Baylor. Jefferson was the Bears' leading scorer in an up-and-down 2013-14 season, posting 13.7 points per game while grabbing 8.2 rebounds.

The Spurs already have a formidable frontcourt, so Jefferson won’t likely be a major factor right away. If he makes the team, however, he will have the chance to learn against some of the toughest competition in the league.
